daddy's Gibson,
singing Hank to his boy
gave me a Martin,
singing Bob's 'Masters of War' –
playing the Martin, today,
unable not to hear the Gibson

Moments, plus another
sad days
from another dark night,
once ninety percent,
grown to ten percent
'Lonesome Blues,' intones
'Blue skies from now on'
