since my youth.

'four dead in O-hi-o,'

we continued to live

we continued to give

we continued to go.

pray for peace,

certainly this is WJWD.

(if Divinity weeps,

does this cause a deluge?)

'Beauty shall save the world,'

we stopped marching

we stopped protesting

we stopped noncompliance.

pray for peace,

and for new cars, big houses, extra credit.

(if we get it all now,

what of then when it is now?)

'Peace, peace and safe persuits,'

politicians promise

preachers offer

lawyers bill.

prey, for peace.
