summer breeze, makes me feel fine,
well worn Seals and Crofts line.
her strolling in the evening's light
catches my eye,
i wink involuntarily
waiting for her to pass by,
stuttering,
'good ev-ev-ev, well hello.'
gently stroking my cheek,
she leans in to kiss me,
so i thought,
instead she nabs a horse fly
ready to bite me,
its prey.
