Forty years past,

Watergate

had it's day -

President impeached,

then pardoned by next in line

two took the fall

willingly

(they did what they promised;

they didn't do what we were told they promised)

One, mustachio toting

NRA cloaking;

One, Bible toting

Redemption cloaking.

What did we learn?

Multitaskers, file thieves,

now are awe inspiring; next

WMD War proliferators; followed by

12-step needing Drone bombing senders

are now applauded

by either side,

who claim to not have voted the way they voted. -----

Today there'd be no need of,

“I'm not a crook!'

Today no one would've lost their jobs.
