three of us reclined on our bed,
not even wondering about their marriage -
someday.
certainly didn't contemplate a bi-racial
president in our lifetime.
Surprise!
a best friend, she, she
and her engaged, a house, a life -
a wife.
look into the mirror:
i am he, she, we,
no shock when I can see.

i kissed a girl, i liked it
kissed a boy too, liked it
why'd i end up with girls?
kissed more, liked it more.
(best friends are girls too, some
would have this say more than i do)
perhaps i just like kissing.
