a reading to me,
poetry in front of others
certain looks,
sharing of books
that first word
kiss on the cheek
certain looks,
strokes in acrylic
primary colours
shared in bold swirls
certain looks,
like certain books
gives a blessed repose
glad awakening.

breathing is cool
not breathing hurts, until you take a
breath.
sex is good
a lover's embrace is better, to
hear her breath is even, yes,
better.
praying is not preying
saying what I do not know
this is all that I know, so I say,
that I do not.
a touch on the hand
brush on the cheek,
'unforgettable,' a melody
breathes.

spring rains
fall's fall
not unlike
winter, summer
NE Ohio's Sun
hides most days
one day of shine
our people baptized, again
pleasantries return, 'How are you today?'
and, bottom taps
recover reciprocal grins,
smiles able to be seen in eyes,
shinning.
