Presidential honesty?

'Presidential honesty?' timothy r gates, 11/08/2012

New guy,

well not so new,

loses to the

old guy,

well not so old.

One was embraced by

misogynists, claiming to know

when a rape

is truly a rape -

telling all what it is to be pro-life.

The other was hugged by

warmongers, making sure

his drones

were safe penetration -

calling the murder of innocents, “collateral damage.”

The other ones,

some new and others not,

didn't have money-pacs or billions more,

didn't have the ability to baptize US,

didn't have the pizazz for multi-media blitzes,

didn't have the savvy to get the 40% willing to vote to vote for them.

Primaries give way to

general election bullshit,

all the while the few willing to vote

still think they're the Electoral College that matters.

One thing for certain,

the Presidential election process

is as honest as any

Presidential his-story:

it's just that, “Presidential honesty.”

Reminds me of most folk's

first sexual encounter,

we paint it up, swell it up,

offer a story of the thrill of the other person with us,

yet all along the truth is –

we were by ourselves.
